My cat is my new favorite co-worker, thanks to this WFH desk bed – now $20 off for Amazon Prime Day 2025

I don't know about you, but my cats constantly pester me for attention when I work from home – jumping on my desk, knocking things over, and, most annoyingly, blocking the entire view of my monitor with their rear ends.

So, when I heard about the Desk Nest (an elevated cat bed that attaches to your table), I jumped at the chance to try it. I can confirm it's been a total game-changer – I can now have a productive day while getting paid to look at their adorable faces the whole time!

The only downside is that it's quite expensive, so if you're going to make the investment, I'd recommend doing so during a sale event. After doing a little digging, I found a hidden discount that will save you $20 by ticking 'apply coupon'.

This elevated cat bed can be secured to any desk or table and supports up to 25 lbs. It features a vertical height adjuster, 360° base rotation, and a padded clamp to protect your surfaces. The cushion is soft and comfortable, with a washable cover.

Why I love it: My cats could spend all day curled up in this bed – and I'm not surprised, since it combines everything they love: being up high, having access to window views, and keeping an eye on my every move in case there are any food offerings.

The basket has a padded cushion inside that feels velvety soft, and it comes with a removable cover you can easily throw in the washing machine. Because of the material and its pale color, it does accumulate pet hair quite quickly, but this can be removed using a lint roller or the best vacuum cleaner for pet hair.

The space-saving design doesn’t take up any room on my desk, thanks to the gap between the bed and the surface – perfect for keeping paperwork out of sight.

Set-up: The bed can be attached to most types of desks (excluding glass), with an adjustable height and a rotating base that spins 360°.

Since it comes with everything you need (including picture instructions), setup is relatively easy, and it clamps onto your desk without leaving a mark. My desk is very close to the window, so I was skeptical about whether it would fit, but I was pleasantly surprised at how little space it took up.

Verdict: While there are cheaper alternatives available, I can vouch for this model being sturdy, high-quality, and wobble-free – it's something I can tell is going to last a long time.

If you're a cat parent who works from home or spends long hours at a desk, this bed is a must-have – it makes the workday ten times more fun.
